How do I hide a story

Hi,

In the old Lush, you could make a story invisible if you wanted to hide it from view rather than deleting it.

However, when I try to hide a story now, it hides it from my profile, but not from general view, which is completely pointless.

Is this a bug or just the way things are?

It’s been this way since the changeover but I’m as interested as you in getting the official lowdown.

I deleted a couple of stories I needed hidden, which was a shame.

That is a terrible shame. I’d hate to lose the comments on the stories but I just want to hide a few for a while. There was a suggestion that making a change to the text and saving as a draft might work but don’t know if you’d lose the comments when you’d resubmit for approval again.

I just tested with an old old one I didn't care about one way or the other and can confirm that just clicking edit on your story and then clicking "Save To Draft" will hide it and preserve all your comments and stats etc. Then if/when you want it visible again, just add a note to mods that you had it hidden for whatever reason and haven't changed anything, and once we reapprove it will come back as if it had never been away.
