I have a similar problem. I have written 52 stories, yet my profile page lists 45. There were 7 stories which I had hidden, so I restored them to visible and yet the count on my profile page still shorts me by 7 stories. I went to the help desk because I qualified for the Author50 badge and asked why my count was different than the profile count. I inquired because I wanted the count to accurately reflect my work and I felt I should get the badge. Well, I got the badge but my profile count is still 7 stories short of what I have done. No explanation was given.

How long ago did you 'unhide' those 7 stories?. Some updates to various fields on profiles etc. are not done instantaneously rather there are daily or perhaps or even less frequent routines that bring things up-to-date (badges, unless applied manually, are I understand a good example of this).

I see 10..try CTRL/F5 to flush the cache for your page..

Since at least 24 hours has now passed since your post I suggest you use the Contact Us form and describe your problem in that and I am sure it will be rectified (as was the same issue Katieelizabeth had).
