Was this changed recently? Items used to read newest to oldest down each page. Now its oldest to newest. Very confusing and counterintuitive. Or is there a layout control I'm not seeing?

It has been changed for quite some time now, around two months I believe.
What device are you using?
It shows as newest to oldest on both my tab and phone.
I seem to write a story every 1.5 years on average.

Desktop, lap, and phone, but when I opened this morning, the page order was back to newest/oldest again. I think this place has a weird sense of humor sometimes.

Wow! Just looked at mine on my desktop, which is all that I use, and mine are in order too (at the moment) having been pretty much random earlier it seems.
Edit- it didn't last. Now back to all over the place again after the first four or five which are in order. Oh well.

Something I picked up about this:
The order is newest to oldest until you reply to a comment on your own work. It will then remain backwards so long as the most recent activity is your comment reply. As soon as someone else generates an activity item, it will go back to the expected order.
It also only affects the first page. Clicking to page 2 shows newest to oldest on that page.
