New micro missing in some places?

It's in your "All Stories" list, but I did notice that your Micros don't seem to have an obvious order. Other categories appear in date order going down (within the categories). Perhaps shift it to the top of your pile in your "My stories" page, if it's not already there...

Yeah, I think that's it. It is there, it just didn't go in at the top. Not sure what the coding on micros is set to do, but you should be able just to shunt it up if you want it first on your profile.

Okay, that is just weird. Never would have thought to go all the way to bottom of My Stories to look for a new story. Never had that happen before, even with micros (though I also haven't published any micros since the micro comp a year ago so maybe something has changed). Thanks all.

I had the same issue when I published a flash - I had to go to the Quick Reads tab to find it. I don't think short fiction sees the front page anymore.

Actually, I have my front page defaulting to All so I do see the micros. smile Someone over on SS did comment, though, that having poems and quick reads on separate tabs is kind of hiding them. With a new platform coming this Fall, probably not something that will be changed before that.

My issue wasn't with the front page, though. My story showed up there just fine if you were in All or Quick Reads. My issue was with my own My Stories area and the Stories section of my profile.

Yeah, per an earlier suggestion, I just had to find it in my stories (it was at the end instead of at the beginning where new stories usually show up) and move it to the top.
