Reading Queue - Search Bar

I can barely get three letters typed into the search bar for that page before the screen shows "Page Not Found - The requested page could not be found." Below that is a red button with "Home" and an arrow pointing to one's left.

It's a little annoying as I use that bar to search for Author's names within my reading queue. I have tried clearing my history and cookies for this site, but that hasn't worked.

That's very odd. I wonder if something was glitchy cos it's working okay for me now. At least, on mobile. Haven't tried desktop.

It's a bit weird insofar as it seems to empty all the stories in the list, then pause... and pause... then repopulates the list with the search results.

Roughly how many stories are in your reading queue, btw?

I wonder then if it's sheer volume that's making the search bork. When I'm on my Interactions panel, if I click Friends it throws an error every time and gives no results. If I change the dropdown to something other than All Content, it works. So it might be a similar issue that the search/filter can't deal with a lot of content.

I tidied up my queue a bit and it's down to 333 now. Search is working again for me.

The dev team are investigating. They underestimated you "because we didn't think anyone would get that high" 🤪😂

So far they've tried it with a couple of hundred entries in the reading queue and it worked. Since your search now works, probably some level approaching 400 is the tipping point and the query falls over.

My guess is they'll either optimize the search or place a limit on the reading queue. Watch this space.
