two different word counts in edit mode.

i'm finishing a story that is right on the ten thgousand word limit. One says 10.0 K words. that is the number that shows when not in actual edit mode. When in edit mode it shows something under 9,800. Which number shoulds i pay attention to? Or just get the higher number under ten K and don't wory about it.

We'll generally take the lower number if it's nearing the limit. Just put a note in for the mods so they know to check in edit mode too
