A Bronx Tale
Minnions 3 but looking forwards to seeing Dunkirk next
Watched AMERICAN SNIPER and glad I did.
Just watched Kong: Skull Island.

Got what I expected. I wanted a mindless, cheesy, monster movie.

I really want to watch King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, but it got bad
reviews. Having said that, I fucking watched Kong: Skull Island instead.

Therefore, I have no taste or opinion
I'm looking forward to seeing that Logan Lucky movie that comes out later in August. The cast and trailers sold me.
Just watched Hugo again. Man, what a wonderful example of captivating story telling.

Love, love, LOVE the backdrop of old Paris, and the star-studded cast. Just fabulous.
Just saw Annabelle: Creation with my eldest daughter. Good movie!

REALLY wanna see Dunkirk on a big screen - TV won't do it justice.
Just watched three movies this past week. When you're in bed sick (still FFS), and the kids are away...

Alien: Covenant - too damn predictable. My thought during the movie was that they have near
unlimited budgets, with access to focus groups. Can't you do a better job with the plot?

King Arthur: Legend of the Sword - I really enjoyed this. As many said, if you enjoyed the Guy Richie
Sherlock Holmes movies, you will enjoy this movie. I did, and I did.

Birdman - I avoided this movie because I felt it was being forced down the consumer/viewer's throat. I still do.
It won the Academy Award for Best Picture, among others. I found this to be a stage actor's movie, whatever
that means. The angry banter and arguing was annoying. The jazz music soundtrack was distracting and annoying.
The ending was predictable, but... was it?

Milik The Red gave me some advice a while back. Simply put, he said, "Make your story memorable."

I did not like Birdman, but I forced myself to watch it because I felt things were happening in the movie that I
didn't understand. I knew I wasn't well versed in analyzing what had been written or acted. I can see why this was
chosen as best picture. Everything was annoying and that was the point. The movie got under my skin and I
will remember that. I will remember the acting, which was phenomenal. And that damn jazz... I still don't like it. sad
Saw: Rough Night

Want to see: Baby Driver
Dunkirk and the dark tower on the same day (Sunday)
I am glad that a flutter can mean so much, and be oh so powerful! Whilst I bring my own kind of chaos to those I choose to know everywhere, I do believe in Chaos theory, and I am glad that it is suggested that the fluttering wings of a butterfly can be felt the other side of the globe, it gives me hope that I can caress your soul.
Snatched with Amy Schumer and Goldie Hawn....Hilarious!!!

Kidnap with Hallie Berry...Intense and very good but typical
Just saw Logan Lucky. I enjoyed it and to me it did not feel like your typical heist film. It wasn't laugh out loud funny, but there were plenty of amusing, quirky characters that gave the film a humorous vibe.
I can't wait to see IT. I've read the book enough times. I don't remember what else I want to see.
Hubby took me to see Close Encounters of the Third Kind Saturday night.

How the fuck is that movie 40 years old? I'm only in my twenties!!! Still an amazing film and seeing it again on the big screen was awesome!

Annabelle: Creation is surprisingly frikkin scary.

Scheduled to see It next weekend.

And Get Out is on DVD!!! Waiting forever for that!

GREAT movie!
The Imitation Game..... great flick!
Went to see IT movie last night with my friends. It's a great movie. I still think that Tim Curry was the best Pennywise.
Saw: Going out in Style and Baby Driver...

Want to see: American Assassin
SICARIO is such a great film.
This was surprisingly entertaining.

The same GQP demanding we move on from January 6th, 2021 is still doing audits of the November 3rd, 2020 election.
IT... not scary
IT. It was okay. Less CGI would make it more believable. I liked it, but for all the hype, kind of a let down.
Can't wait to see this!

But was it good? I didn't think the book was scary either--I'm not scared of clowns--but the relationship between all the kids was so well-written. Loved the book even if it wasn't scary.
I'm going to see A Ghost Story next week and I really want to creep in late, stand at the back with a sheet over my head and see how long it takes anyone to notice. Sooo tempting
