It seems to me that all women, or people really, exhibit a few or all of these characteristics. Maybe not all at the same time but they will manifest in one way or another, sooner or later. It's hard enough getting a woman to overlook your own faults, narrowing the field down by excluding women that have these characteristics seems stupid to me.

The Smart-Ass: Can be fun and engaging. I love a good debate and have no problem holding my own. Not a problem, sorry ivillage.
The Gold Digger: I expect to pay and like to buy things for my girl. As long as I get something in return, no harm, no foul. There's always the word "no" to be used when it gets out of control.
Mrs. Right: Ok, I've experienced this one and I'm going to say "hell no". It gets old being wrong all the time. Unclench woman!
The Psycho: Not for long-term and not to allowed near your pet rabbit, but these are often the Ferraris in the bedroom. Now, the article talks about being clingy as "psycho" and that can get old, but, again, not really a problem until it chokes of my life, then the "no" works.
The Rebound: She's not looking for anything long-term and I don't fall easily or quickly so will likely not fall for her before it's over. Just enjoy it while it lasts. I don't even see this as an issue. Heck, you can end up with some good friends this way.
