Beaten by cops! Thrown into jail!

So, I don't know if this is even allowed, but I'm pimping a story I wrote over on Stories Space. It's a non-fiction memoir of being thrown in jail during Mardi Gras. I'm trying to learn how to write non-fiction, and this is my fledgling attempt, one of the many weird adventures of my misspent youth.

The title, Young and Dumb in New Orleans, is a (perhaps pretentious) nod to George Orwell's Down and Out in London and Paris. It's a fast, fun read, I hope.

It was pretty nutty. Weirdly, I didn't initially think it was interesting enough. But as I kept writing I kept remembering crap (like listening to the guy getting pummeled by cops). Weird times. Thanks for reading it, Dubya.
