Do your worst!

In your estimation, what's the worst piece of writing you've successfully published on Lush Stories?

I'll go first: Christmas Carol - https://www.lushstories.com/stories/fantasy-sci-fi/christmas-carol

The conditions were perfect for this story to suck - it was a holiday-themed competition with a very low (for me) word limit. I probably should have just sat it out, but instead I wrote out this uninspired reworking of the old Dickens fable.

My worst is my attempt at poetry back in October 2020. It was going to be a micro, but when I realised I rhymed a few times, I figured 'what the hell' and dug my heels in.

You could play a drinking game each time a well-used trope shows up. But the same could be said of my own stories, most of the stories on LS, and porn in general. It was still a fun read, though, and not truly terrible.

Skimming through this again, I feel like we should get a few more 'bad porn stories' by good writers. This was so much fun with the cliches and being over the top.
