I'm currently in the process of writing the story which is on my profile (You made a promise!)
I'm going to publish the full story in chapters as I have been doing, it's like a first draft but it's been nice to get some feedback as it's the first real attempt I've made at a novel.
I'd like to eventually publish it on Amazon and go the self publishing route, but I'd also like to offer the entire book free on lush stories as it's a really active community from what I can see.
Would it be a good idea to post the entire book free on here and then link to Amazon at the end with a message such as:
"If you enjoyed the book, you can buy it on Amazon (link insert here)"
I will of course edit it all properly and post it as an actual novel on here first, the chapter uploads are a first draft for feedback.
I know it might sound a bit strange but I think people should only buy it if they genuinely enjoyed it and actually want too.
Possibly naive of me but I write for the enjoyment and if I make any money at all it'll be a bonus, although I don't expect to make a lot. Possibly just a few sales here and there as so many people are self publishing.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
