Now, lest the title deflect you, either in light of
a. the comment by a certain Lush luminary that "he needs to throw in a bunch of swear words in order to emphasize his point" (me? fucking moi?!), or
b. the fact that you hate smoking;
I hope you will forgive me for pointing out that the title is ironic and satirical. In fact, some of Lush's finest minds have said this about the story:
Verbal: "This was funny and smart and quickly paced. You have a really assured voice and a great stylistic flair!"
Buz: "Damn good story! Raunchy wild! Great job of writing!"
Sheherazade: "You are about as good a storyteller as we've got here on Lush. Never has a story about something so repelling been so hard to resist."

In sum - as AvidlyCurious says - "even though smoking was in the spotlight... it was just the scapegoat for deeper, underlying issues." And so, this is really a story about addiction, relationship abuse, and revenge.
It is also, in curvygalore's words, "very, very funny and so sexy too... a terrific series!" And who could possibly disagree with Curvy?
