I am the author of two mainstream books. I very much need to protect my professional reputation.

I've written a serious book of a sexual nature (if interested message me for details).

I need someone to get it published. The royalties aren't with the risk to my professional life. I'm looking for someone who has publish erotica to get my book published. You can keep the royalties.. Message me if interested.

Bogus.

Lol. Have you ever heard of using a pen name and a separate email address? Just publish it yourself. You don't have to say what you wrote word for word when you report your taxes (and that's only if you earn any cash from this).

If you just want something published and not even get the royalties from it, why don't you publish it here or any of the other sites that accept erotica to be read by the masses?

One of the great things about here is that it doesn't matter if you're a total noob or seasoned professional, everyone has a chance to share their writings and perversions as long as they follow the rules.

I have kept this project secret from my wife, but we file our taxes jointly. The offer is genuine despite what "unknown user" has to say.

Maybe consult with an accountant if you haven’t already to see if you can obfuscate the source as some sort of generalized side money or publish it for free if no one takes your offer and you just want people to read it (assuming that it’s legit and very generous indeed)?

And I can’t help you if you’re keeping the erotica a secret from your wife. Not everyone is in a situation where they can be open and honest with their significant other and I’m very sorry about that.

Edit: to add on to that, I just peeked at your profile and your stories look very mainstream. May make it easier if you ever wanted to sit down and talk about it save the other aspects of the site you may or may not be using lol.

Although, I guess if you have in the first story on there a few paragraphs dedicated to how you’re no longer attracted to your wife because of her sagging breasts and overweight-ness despite surgeries and therefore seriously wanted a divorce (but didn’t because then you would have to pay more for a cramped apartment than a mortgage on a nice house with a wife who cooks great meatloaf), that may not be taken kindly by your significant other.

Yeah, I can see that being taken the wrong way. Or as a red flag.

It’s kind of a dick move to be honest if that’s true.

If you don’t care about the money, price your book at 99 cents, you’ll make 33 cents a book. That way, it’s unlikely you’ll make enough to report to the IRS, unless you’re very very lucky or very very good.

Tintinnabulation - first place (Free Spirit)
Comet Q - second place (Quick and Risqué Sex)
Amnesia - third place (Le Noir Erotique)

There are some small publishers out there who do all the ancillary work like cover art, IBSN, putting it on the market at Amazon, Apple, Smashwords, etc. If you're not interested in the money, I'm sure they'd be happy to take both cuts, and perhaps invest a little extra into cover art for subsequent outings if it proves lucrative for their brand. Since there's no money changing hands between you, they would be more likely ( and able ) to keep things close to the vest and not ask any unnecessary questions that could jeopardize your "day job" or out you to the wife before you're ready.

If nobody bites on an individual basis, it's another option to accomplish your goal of getting it out there and keeping yourself away from it.

Good Will ---|--- Three Alarm <= Both almost famous, give them a read and get them one step closer!

I have found someone and the book is now in "print" (as an Ebook).
