I do wonder how much of this is that people really like the play on traditional roles and sexy people doing them, and how much is that people like the rise (non-sexual) they get from actually posting it, just sitting back to watch the action. This thread doesn't offend me because all I've seen of the OP is nonsense, if someone I considered a friend or someone I had a large amount of respect for started a thread called 'a woman's place is in the...' and then filled it with pictures of women in a kitchen I would probably be offended.
If the OP was posting other types of images, or had titled this thread differently (as someone mentioned above) it wouldn't be sexist. But right now, it is. There's no denying that.
Of course it's good for a woman (or a man!!) to be able to cook, to be able to clean, to feed their family and themselves well and have those general life skills....but the problem is the suggesting that that is ALL a woman is good for.
If the whole world is 'wrong' and you're the one who's 'right', making all these excellent comments and threads and posting excellent pictures....well....it seems like all you're good for is shit stirring and deluding yourself as to the role that women play in society and as to what other things they can achieve.
If you do not consider yourself to be sexist, then why feed a sexist idea? Perhaps you are not sexist, perhaps you do respect woman for what they can do, and perhaps you are aware that they can achieve truly excellent things, and if that is so then I fail to see what you have to get from posting ridiculous threads like this one other than shit stirring.
