My sincerest apologies for the delayed response, as I'm just now noticing these questions/observations. These forums are full of pictures and threads and it's hard to keep track....

...which brings me to my main point: These rules have always been around. Whether or not a complaint is received or you feel it's been overlooked, it doesn't mean the rules have changed.

As I've already said, there are well over 80,000 pictures posted in these forums among different threads. I try my best to make it a point to browse through as many picture threads as I can, but things get lost in the fray. Also, I'm not always around. And when I am, I'm tending to other forum matters that don't involve pictures. I don't claim to speak for every forum moderator, but I'm quite sure the same goes for each of them.

On average, it takes me anywhere from 2-3 hours to clean up a picture thread in its entirety. And that's just one thread.

If you see that your picture has been removed, it's not because I'm singling you out or have just now decided to enforce a rule. It's simply because I've finally gotten around to noticing that your picture violates a rule.

Keep image posting rules in mind, and everything will be fine. And if you want to post a picture that might violate the rules but you wanna go for it anyway, consider choosing another picture or posting it in the hardcore section of the forum instead.
