Felix... it seems that if someone doesn't agree with you, or your thoughts, you go on the attack. You were offended that I agree with Sprite and defended Jayne. You're basically picking a fight because you come up with a story differently than others. You don't like the fact that Jayne can come up with a story idea within a few hours. Then you won't like how I have gotten a story idea within a matter of minutes. Now, an idea is a far cry from the time it takes me to type it all out, proofread it, have a friend proofread it, fix the mistakes I missed (and there are ALWAYS mistakes I miss), then check it once more before I submit it. And often I get a note from the Mod who read my story telling me there are errors I need to fix for a comp entry, or they fix the non-comp entries.

If you were really as open minded as you claim, Jayne's "idea" wouldn't have bothered you in the least, and you wouldn't still be attacking her and anyone else.

And I know... you'll have something snarky to say to me and ya know what... that's fine!

If you choose to enter the contest... then I wish you luck. If not, maybe the next one will be more you style.

Maybe you could try acting just a little bit less of a smarmy jackass to people? I know this is a foreign concept based on how you typically post, but seriously, grow the fuck up dude.

If it takes you a month for a story competition idea to come to fruition, that's not my problem, Jayne's problem, or anyone else's problem but yours. I've gotten ideas as soon as I read the prompt. You kind of...get used to having those flashes of inspiration when you take advanced fiction classes. Or well, any writing class in general.

Advanced writing classes... advanced writing classes... Please tell me what it's like to have been in advanced writing classes and still write at an amateurish ass level. You're bragging about what so many others can do without such classes... Guess who is the one that looks stupid? advanced writing classes... Did they teach you reading comprehension in those classes? LOL go back and read what I said. I think you know what I am saying, unless you are playing stupid as well.

If you can't even think of a story idea until two weeks into it, again, that's your problem. Plenty of people seem to get ideas almost immediately after the announcement. I've seen entries posted within 2-3 days. Sometimes even the next day.

You've seen them posted within a day huh? By who?

Again, you do know what I am talking about by some stupid ass people showing a bit of discretion when they act like they have a bit more than an idea on the first day of the comp after a couple hours? Right? And that is assuming they read the announcement the second it was posted lol. The couple hours is assuming they were sitting there waiting for the comp to be posted.

Maybe you should realize that, uh, not everyone has YOUR goddamn level of inspiration or lack thereof based purely from a quickness standpoint?

Yes, I lack quick story ideas...

If you weren't so inflated/diluted by your utterly cringe worthy sense of importance you have gotten from a website, you would realize how transparently stupid you sound right now.

With al this time spent complaining and thinking up Templar level conspiracy theories, you could have been spending that time writing your competition entry.

"Al [sic] this time?" How long does it take you to make a couple of forum posts?... I mean, since you have such quick story ideas, a forum post must take a couple of seconds... LOL.

Letting a mod on lush know how dumb she is being by posting about having a story all planned out right after a comp announcement is reaching Templar level conspiracies? What world are you living in? Templar level conspiracies... Are you being serious? Please explain that, seriously.
As (minorly) amusing as this all is (I ask the view of moderators a few days before a competition, which idea they feel is the best), I'm getting a little sick of it.

In future, I'll just go with whatever I feel is a good idea, without any consultation.
Was the deadline extended? I could have sworn it was the 20th.

If I'd known I had more time, I would have waited for my editor to get back from a couple of days away and saved a verifier from having to kick the story back to me for a really dumb mistake I overlooked.

Good Will ---|--- Three Alarm <= Both almost famous, give them a read and get them one step closer!

Did you mean the 30th and the 8th? That's what's on the contest page.

I guess I must have been looking at the date cross-eyed when I checked it and saw a 2 instead of a 3.

Probably the timezone I'm in. It should read the 31st and 9th for all.
Someone loose this?
