I am on for for this, although I promise I will not be writing anything favourable about this ghastly commercial farce that it has become. Is it really for adults, or just silly love struck teens.
In the world's harsh wear and tear many a very sincere attachment is slowly obliterated.

There are a few of us here who actually boycott VDay every year, no worries biggrin

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

Yes, vote count and average score are hidden for comp entries until the competition has closed.

You can see that someone voted on your story or poem on your timeline, but it won't tell you what they gave. So, it will say someone voted, but not, they gave you a 4, for example. This is how some keep track of making the minimum. Now, the standing rule is comments equals votes, and for the most part, that is true. But some like to vote without commenting.

I hope this helps make a bit more sense of this.

Hey Nicola, will Lush be able to drop the time limit on scoring for this one? I know with (I think) the flash erotica comp, it got really frustrating having to wait and wait for the limit to pass to score on stories? Just a thought...

Can you elaborate? I read this 4 times and still don't understand (very long Sunday lunch yesterday...).

I think Mazza was referring to the amount of time you have to wait before you can score another story. It's currently limited to one every 5 minutes I think?
Thanks Liz.

I can see how it would be annoying seeing how quickly one can read a poem. I'll see if Gav is able to turn it off for that category only. If not, we can disable it.

Indeed for stories is time limitations, but not for poems. When time limitation came in use, there were some objections from members who read poems frequently and it was decided that poems won't have time limitations. If nothing changed since then, we should be able vote on them as pleased.

I wouldn't bother Gav with this, I am quite sure this feature is in use since time limitations feature.

Ha!

Yes, what Liz said was what I meant. That you couldn't score more than one piece within a certain limit of time... I remember having to wait until the time limit passed to be able to score stories for the flash comp...

I just tested this claim of mine and it is as I said. We can vote on poems as pleased without time limitations.
Thanks for testing She.
I'm quite amazed at the fantastic response to this competition.

We've had some really good entries =d>
I was going to comment the same, nicola. Seems to have brought out the poet in a lot of Lush souls.
Hope we hear the results soon..
