I read most of the entries into the "Quickie" competition and I'd have to say that there were some excellent stories submitted within the guidelines given. The winning story was obviously the best ... Well Done! But we saw some new writers that many of us had not seen/read previously. In particular I want to single out Greeneyedkitty (who has previously written poetry) for an excellent story that deserved recognition.

JB - That's very nice of you to write this. Sometimes there are the new or less popular writer that writes a fabulous story .... but many times it's the popular writers that prevail (making the necessary views and scores to go to the next level). I like to encourage those new (and less popular) writers as well.
