Could we have a choice?

In our Recent Activity list, can we have a choice to show forums posts.

I love what my friends write in the forums, but I come on here enough to see it every time they do post. However I find that I miss allot of their new story posts, some of them are modest and dont let you know when they have posted a new story.
And most of the time I like to read the stories my friends have read and given good comments for, but I miss all that because of all the thread updates.

So if it could be possible that would be a nice choice to have icon_smile

Are you saying the Recent Activity could show "XXXXX posted a NEW story!"

I think Oneline wants to pick and choose what's in her recent activity in the profile area.

I'll see what Gav is up to, I think he's deep in the chat salt mines.

I can see value of such a feature.

So each section of the recent activity (adding friends, comments, voting, stories, forums etc) can be disabled, or maybe a slider bar, More Stories [----------------+-----------------]More forums

I like the idea of a slider bar, however you can only have 2 different features on a slider bar.

Giving the person the ability to pick and choose what is shown is probably the simplest.

The configurations on this site are getting a little overcomplicated aren't they?!!! You may need to start putting all the settings on different tabs at this rate sad1

We also need a reply option. Its kind of a hassel to bounce back to the persons profile that sent you the message to reply back to them, and then go back to where you were.

I agree! And maybe a way to keep it from disapearing everytime you go to a different page?

Ok here's some quick wins:

- I've added a sound for an online message (I would prefer a mobile phone sms sound in mp3 if anyone has one). Its linked to the poke sound, so if you've turned this off in your options, this sound will also not play.

- When you click on the persons name in the message, you will be sent to the interact section of their profile page. From here you can reply back to the message.
