The next release will use a different mechanism to retrieve your friends activity to improve performance. These activity streams are being built now, but there is not much historical data with them.

Therefore when I push this version live you will be missing a chunk of friends activity.

Not sure if this has anything to do with your current tinkering but the archived friends activity seems to be behaving strangely.

Going to lushstories.com/username/activity shows the recent activity as usual, but when I click "Load More Activity" it adds activity from other friends of mine.

It has everyting to do with it! Well spotted, I shall have a patch up today to resolve this issue.
