Thanks to an excellent suggestion from Roccotool, we've added a random story button on the front page.

Just give it a twirl, and see what it pings up. Who knows, it might broaden your mind icon_smile

Great idea. I know this is getting really picky, but would it be possible to have the random story generator be a little less random, and only choose stories above a certain rating? Or should I just suck it up and hit the random story button again if I don't like the one I'm reading? lol.

Can I be the first to accuse the random generator of bias?

I've clicked it twice and neither time did one of my stories come up. I'm going to keep clicking it until one does.

LOL. We have 4170 stories now, you've written 15, so you have a 15/4170 chance of one of your stories appearing, or 1 in 278.

Try clicking 300 times and let me know icon_smile

Jebru - you're a larrikin! It's random. It would be unfair to put any constraints on it, a story might be excellent, but because of the mindset of some surfers, it may have been given a load of low votes - and then you'd never get to read it. As an aside, can you pm me what it was we talked about last year, I can't for the life of me remember what the idea was! Senile at 39 d'oh!

I clicked it earlier today and didn't pay much attention to the title or author.

I started reading it. Saw the layout was bad and it wasn't particularly well written.

Then I thought it looked a bit familiar - maybe I'd read it before?

Nope it was the first story I put up..

Thanks for the compliments. Wait till you hear how I got the idea. After searching the porn sites, as is my want, I remembered seeing a Random Pic button. I got the Aha! and told Nic. Gav is the real genius, coming up with the code.
I felt it would be a cool way of possibly finding an author you like, or maybe discovering a fetish, etc. It also might bring new readers to the authors.
