Sorry, I don't know if this has been raised before, but has the ability to reply inline to comments on stories ever been considered? I don't want to PM everyone with a reply, and I don't want to look like I'm ignoring comments either.

It would be nice to have a forum page dedicated just for authors. The author could thank their readers and address a comment for all to see.ovI4JrvIW7G4YJnY

I either PM the person who made the comment, or leave a message on their profile page thanking them.

A forum page for an author to thank people wouldn't necessarily mean the person leaving a message will bother to read the forum, and replying in your own story to comments there doesn't mean they'll see it either. That's why I prefer PM or profile messages for saying thank you to people.

I try to respond to anyone that takes the time to leave a comment, just seems right.

You can leave your own comment below your stories in reply.

There is an authors section in the forums already.
