The Site's New Look

Maybe I'm late, but it looks great! I noticed today that I could log in directly from the home page instead of having to click 'Log in'. Also, the stats on the home page (total forum/blog posts and friendships, etc.) are cool.

It will be amended slightly, listing the metrics without a bit of an intro, is a little strange. The LHS needs justifying left better too (not that bit, the Latest Forum Posts, and Lush is a...bits).

It looks a little busy, we might ditch one of the stats.

since the site has gotten a new look, did everything zoom in? my screen is at 100% but all the words seem to have gotten bigger

Hi all,

I am a dot net developer and i would suggest some changes in the site time my time..

->i would like to place one Refresh button on the chat room page where it displays the list of rooms. Hitting this refresh button will refresh the logged in users list under each room. This can be implemented without full page postback by using partial postback to avoid unnecessary data reload
-> Bot checking by including captcha during profile creation and chat room creation
-> And special badges for those user whose views are implemented as changes in the site

To be completely honest, those statistic infos looks a bit too busy to me too. Actually I don't really like them on top of the page. Maybe just a liknk to stats if and where people can look at it? just my two cents

Visually, for me, I haven't noticed too much. I hardly ever use the home page or need to sign in with each session. But what I do love, and it was going to eventually be a suggestion, is the way of which you can update your online status. The drop down menu saves so much time jumping from page to page. That's the best tweak in a while. Huge 2 thumbs up Gav. Well, not up Gav, just in the air..you know what I mean. It's awesome..
