St. Pete is a nice area. My condo is near Clearwater Beach and I am headed there in 22 days! Taking my fam and one of my sisters and her fam. Will be good to be back "home". I love being on the beach, it does so much for my emotional state of mind. The sun shines nearly every day. It's hard to be here and go day after day in the gray.

Caged - Who knew she would enjoy being put on display?

It would help mine.

Hope you enjoy, Tech. Have a blast.

We have 3 here at midnight.
And we popped Sunday in the snow. Damn it was cold.

I am so hating winters.
HATE HATE HATE

But nothing like the upper midwest in the spring, summer and fall.

But the winter is god's left arm pit.

Personally I like the change of seasons. I like to ice skate in the winter, X country ski, Show shoe. The cross county and snow shoeing Allows me to trek out on new fallen snow in the woods, see the animal tracks and feel free. The serenity is so peaceful. I feel so in touch with nature. .Last weekend we skated on a shallow pond. Within an hour or so, I can be on beaches , in the mountains, hiking Bike riding, swimming, or skiing. Here in New England there is a saying, you don't like the weather wait a minute it will change

Fall foliage is so beautiful. To me, maybe the best time of the year before the leaves drop. I have seen temps over 100 and below-20 and deal with over 10' feet of snow

But I like it here. Lived here my whole life. I'm so active, doing outside activities, I do not need a gym membership
Long Boat Key!!! Ahhh, my place of choice in FlaUsa for peace.
Also like Sanibel.
Paris in the spring with friends. Tuscany in the summer with hubs. 2 other favs.

Have you ever been out of NE pam? You may find the rest of the world holds some pretty great places as well.
Chef I been to Canada many times Florida Ca Chicago Never Texas

In Canada so far in the wilderness it took a sea plane to land on a remote lake to get to the cabin. I enjoyed Fl and Ca but my roots run deep and they are here.

Played golf all over the east coast never over seas yet . Been to Newfoundland and Labrador Talk about being away from it all. That is wilderness up there is God's country
Yes it is. But there are some wonderful places outside the US as well.

Also like Germany at Christmas but haven't been in YEARS!!!
Not you typical woman's activity, But I do enjoy Fly fishing. Salmon fishing in Labrador is out of this world. I agree I would like to go to Europe
My family is here and like I said ,my roots to New England run deep. Fishing comes up in my stories, I also enjoy surf casting on Cape Cod. I never said it was the best place to live, but one I'm comfortable with. It has some diversity. Not everyone wants to shovel snow freeze their ass off. That's why the Subaru Forester, it automatically kicks into all wheel drive when the wheels slip.
