Which improvements or features would you like to see added?

I'd like too see that new story updates are filtered based on the categories one has hidden. So if someone you follow writes a new story in a category you've hidden, you wouldn't get a notification of that story.

Oh, and bigger buttons/links to browse through someone's image gallery (prev/next). Those black triangles are way too small.

I think the ability to filter what I receive on my Friends Activity Feed would be a great feature.

For example, some friends have great taste in stories, and I'd like to know what they've voted and commented on. But their incessant posting in the Last Post Wins forum is flooding my feed. Similarly, some friends are fantastic wise asses in the forums, but I'm not interested in their story choices. And others I may just want to limit to blog updates etc.

I don't know how you'd do it, maybe a grid?
My latest story is a racy little piece about what happens when someone cute from work invites you over to watch Netflix and Chill.

I'm guessing that this has probably come up before, but it would be really good to be able to filter PMs, so that unread ones could be easily found. It would be fab if individual PMs, which are responses to and fro could be grouped into a conversation, like one long email, rather than taking up pages of the inbox (I'm not sure if I've explained that properly, but I hope you'll get what I mean? You can bring them up that way if you do a search)

Anyway, I'm loving all the other changes that have been made recently - it's great the way that the site keeps evolving and growing... Thanks you guys!!

That is exactly how I feel. You've put it much better than I could and I'm 100% behind you. The amount of unwanted/ unneeded information blocks out the information you do want. Good luck!

I know you won't do it, but I would LOVE for the block feature to work on the blocked member in the forums, too. I know that if other people who haven't been blocked quote them, then their words would be posted in that reply. But oh, how I would love that feature...

For the bit at the top, which shows how many of your friends are online, it would be nice if you could hover over that and see who are, instead of having to click upon it. I know, I'm lazy. Shoot me XD

I'd to see some improvements made to the relationship statuses, particularly the BDSM, there are other relationship types then being owned, also, I know I am not the only Dom who owns more then one submissive, it would be nice to be able to list them in my status.

I like this idea! sometimes I discover that I have been deleted only by chance. Not that I mind having been deleted, obviously I didn't pay enough attention to them, but just that curiosity drives me a bit nuts....

yeah, but i could see that getting out of hand, i mean, pretty soon people are going to want pet status and friend status and FWB status and and and... and frankly, it could get a bit crazy.

OMG...That would be a nightmare....I definitely would not want to see that.....

I like to talk to my friends and if they talk to me once, I will give them a few weeks and if nothing, I delete them.

I am more into quality friendships then having tons of friends. But, that is just me....

Yeah, I'd like that too, my list is huge! Although I did notice that a load of the January 1st ones disappeared, like the ones that defaulted to that date because their profile wasn't filled in. That was good, because there were tons of the buggers!!

In another thread, someone suggested that it would be good if there could be a link from option? So, maybe at the top of the story, if it was part of a series or something, you could put in the link for the preceeding part?

I thought that might be a good idea...

I'm starting two different story lines that are going to take several chapters to tell. Having this would make it much easier for readers to peruse the preceding parts.

This may have already been suggested but I was thinking the other day that in addition to being able to follow an author I wish we could follow a category or categories and be notified when a new story has been added to that category.

There are several categories that I try to follow in particular the bisexual category and I try to catch all the stories added there to add to my queue, but if I get busy I have to go through the pages and add them.

I definitely agree with this. The only thing I would like to add is the request that this system if ever implemented have some way of notifying you with as few messages as possible, otherwise I foresee a situation where people who follow too many categories will simply have their mailboxes inundated with story notifications. That said, to some extent the ability to limit what types of stories you see in the first place does sort of fulfill a very similar function.


Personally as someone who follows a lot of stories because I like to keep an eye out for writers who's work I enjoy I would really love to see a system implemented where you are notified in some way when an account you are following has been inactive for X amount of time, thus making it so I don't have to go through my entire follow list once every few months and weed out the inactives.

I'd love to be able to see the recommended reads and editors picks for each category. The same way as most viewed and most popular. Maybe a most recommended sort of thing.

I guess I would like to see a story idea/development forum. Sometimes it helps to kick an idea around before writing it.

How about a handful of volunteer editors/proofreader?

I know the verifiers to some editing but that's small stuff. I'm talking about people that can get messaged by any author who needs help no matter how bad.

It would cut down on the editing the story mods do. I forget who did it but my last story took 20 minutes of extra editing by a story mod before it got up. Yes I had a friend look at it but she's not a "professional" editor. I personally would use this with every story.

Probably suggested before but what about a 'sound' when we receive a mail message and if thats a good idea a different sound to the existing ones please. Maybe even optional via ones profile and privacy settings.

I know this site is primarily about stories. But in the chat catagory a nice upgrade would to be ably to video chat.

My appologies if this has already been suggested, but...

A que for joining chat rooms.

The limit for rooms, 25, is fine by me, it feels as the right amount of crowding in a full room. But getting into rooms can at times be very anoying. Having to refresh the page to see if anyone's left the room I want to enter, among other things, is frustrating. Sure, there is the option of joining a secondary room, but nobody ever spends any time there. That's why I present my idea. Hoping the staff still reads this thread smile

Please, consider adding the option of joining a cue to enter rooms, where people can wait to be sent into said room when someone leaves it.
