Congratulations to Madeline_Miles and her delicious tentacled tale, "My Alien Lover" on being awarded an Editor's Pick. This is a tale about a Scottish lass camping alone on a loch who is surprised by alien tentacle sex (with a side of slime) that was hot enough to melt the Milky Way. The writing was exquisite in it's detailed descriptions, which elevated the piece to more than the sum of it's tentacled parts. The main character's inner narrative captured her descent and complete simultaneous submission to both the monster and her pleasure, which delighted all the senses of this tale's lucky readers. This all worked to make this piece impossible to turn away from in a genre that doesn't get a lot of fanfare here on Lush. I implore you all to give it a chance, even if sci-fi/alien/tentacles aren't your thing. They aren't mine and it was written so well, I loved it. I hope you all will join me on congratulating Madeline on this wonderful piece and her first EP!!!
