My favorite thing is cutting very thin slices out of a green apple (the sourer, the better).

Um, probably a really cold Golden Delicious Apple.

Failing that, grapes of the Pinot Grigio variety.

Ice-cold watermelon with salt. A Southern tradition. I prefer them with seeds since it gives me pleasure to see how far I can spit them. FYI it is a requirement that watermelon be eaten outside on a redwood table.
