Seriously Felix, I don't know if you meant this as a joke but this is actually quite awesome. Imagine everyone having a glass like this at a pool party.
A crawfish boil...
Crawfish, corn, taters and ice cold beer!

Bottoms up!!
I enjoy doing my daughters bday cakes myself and I would love to be able to accomplish these...

I'll share one very old recipe (no, not from the 90', giggles) This is very simple and cheep food, it comes from after 2.WW, but most probably its older than that. It was food of poor ones.

Sour cabbage with beens recipe:

1/2 fresh sour cabbage
1 big onion
oil (I use olive, but..)
1 tea spoon of red sweet pepper in powder
salt, black peper
and if you want you can add chilli and 1 bay leaf.
1 tin can of beans you like

Chop onion on small pieces, and fry it on oil with some salt untill is almost brownish. Add sweet peper, mix into it and immediately add cabbage. Add water finger or two above what is already in the pot. Cook half an hour add beans you like and cook for another few minutes. I serve that with mash potato, which I make with a bit of milk and olive oil, not from the box of course.

My body says thank you every time I cook this.

Forgot to say, it is fucking delicious!!

Paella, you mean.
This makes me long for summer. *sigh*

Duh Felix. Live in Miami, and have had the best paella you couldn't even afford jack ass.
I'm in the mood for some sushi. Luckily Sydney has some of the best sushi restaurants in the world

Is this your subtle way of asking me on a sushi date? The answer is yes.

I got the frantic call from my sister this week, her husband had decided they were bumping my nieces bday party forward a week, and she needed a cake. So I threw together a strawberry poke cake. A yummy white cake topped with strawberries I cooked down into a sauce, topped with whipped cream. I added a unflavored gelatin to both the sauce and the cream for stability, also added a bit of color to the cream as the niece requested "a pink cake."
Kimchi Fries with five spice tofu. Who knew? SO SO awesome. It's hard to go back to a regular poutine now.
I want this inside me:

Maybe I'd switch out those grapefruit slices for orange or blood orange slices, though.

Right, it's not fancy but it's ohhh so yummy.

Pic is just before the mozzarella lightly melted so to meet all the other ingredients.
