Interesting that so many pick Lord Of The Rings, but in actuality, it's three novels of a trilogy. Heck, Return Of The King wins hands down then, but I still have a soft spot for Daughter Of The Empire by Raymond Feist and Janny Wurts. I would love to be Lady Mara, ruling her family and playing the Great Game of the Empire...
