i'd pay good money.

Say. Her. Name.

Haven't slept more than three cumulative hours since Saturday 18th. Slowly going insane. Yes I'll put my phone down but believe me I'm so tired if it was going to make a difference it would. Someone once told me that they just embrace it, but I can't get up and do more in the vain hope that I might actually find some f*ing peace tonight. Please let me sleep, please please PLEASE.
When I can't sleep I turn on the radio and listen to Coast to Coast, the talk show about aliens and Planet X and the hollow earth theory and the Taos Hum and ghosts yadayadayada. It's on in 16 minutes!

...and asleep in 18.

Don't forget to sat 'Hi'

God how true is that one Gill, it's more like periods of unconsciousness that really don't result in restless and productive sleep.

I gave in and got a short course prescription for sleeping pills today. Here's hoping I can sleep easily, and stay asleep tonight.
1 am and wiiiide awake. hello everyone!

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

Hi Rachel, I hope you are sleeping now! I know they say no rest for the wicked, but sleeplessness is too cruel a punishment!

For you.

Hoping you're sleeping now.

We should all be having a party or something. There is just not much to do at home when you can't sleep at night. I refuse to do anything productive, like housework or laundry and instead watch weird documentaries on Netflix. I hope everyone is sleeping now or will tonight or whenever you can. Good luck ladies. I'll be taking a nap today, thank goodness it's a snow day.

Trying to remember nice things which happened with you in the past sometimes relaxes & helps one fall asleep. I said sometimes, because it doesnt always work for me.
I found the cure for insomnia, anesthesia! Well at least for one night, apparently I can't have that every night. It lingers too, so I am going back to sleep now. Or maybe it's the pain meds, either way who cares. I actually slept all night. I'm sure in a few days I'll be back to not sleeping. See everyone then. In the meantime I am having a love affair with my bed and pillows, they've missed me.

Gill! Perfect! The last time I slept properly was the three night after my anaesthesia. I hope you get a flow on effect.

Seems does not help. I slept three hours and am now staring at the ceiling, perhaps in a slightly still drunk state.
Has anyone else here tried Melatonin? Not the homeopathic stuff, the actual stuff. I finally got mine, took it the first night and slept for a good 7-8hrs for the first time in 2 months. Unfortunately due to the sleep deficit I was so tired I also then snoozed on and off all day long. I've been a bit scared to take it since as I actually need to be functional. Then of course tonight I have no slept at all. I had too much on my mind but I should have taken the melatonin and shut it down. I'm thinking tonight I will feed my kids at like 5pm and then put a movie on for them so Dad can put them to bed when he gets home and I'll crash and see if I can get 14hrs straight. If you haven't tried it, I'd highly recommend it. Staying asleep is most of my issue and because it is slow release it seemed to have done the trick. Hopefully more than once LOL

I have tried it and it works to help me fall asleep. The problem is I don't stay asleep. That has always been my issue. I think I may have tried everything by now. Sigh.... I'll keep looking and trying things.

Maybe this will work, lol.
