making fake accounts?

do you think someone would make a fake account to get back at you if you deleted them?

it was weird i just deleted someone who i used to talk to everyday and then today an old friend that i haven't talk to in a long time poked me

is it just a weird coincidence?

Probably a weird coincidence, but who knows? Most people make fake accounts to see if they can get a different reaction from someone that either a- deleted them b-pretend to be someone of similar interest(lesbian/gay) or c- to be a jerk, who has really slow self-esteem!

If its a fake account or someone pretending, it doesn't take long to break them down and see if their a real person. Lots of red flag questions to ask. Plus if your instincts are as so, you should follow it. Its usually not to far off.

Absoutely there are fake accounts. One woman was chatting with me and telling me how great of a lover another guy lushie was as they met up together. Suddenly she had to go and within 30 seconds; the guy logged in and wanted to chat with me! I declined and they are now both blocked! I've also deleted people who I thought were not being honest and then I was poked by a bunch of newbies who had just signed up....

Very possible it was a fake account. I've had similar experiences here on LS. My favorite one was a "lady" chatted with me a few times always mentioned her "son" was on LS too. Then all of the sudden her "son" wants to be friends. "She's" never online anymore but her son was always trying to open a chat with me. Blocked both! It happens. Why not just be real?

Unless of course you are in the witness protection program or undercover agent. And if either is the case, please let us know so we know why strange things occur while chatting with you or your second identity
