Now I just wait impatiently for Wednesday nights and go out to dinner w/ Vladyslav because I can't be bothered to sit through commercials so we record it.

Just finished watching Season One of The Watchmen.

Watched the first part of this recently. If you thought it impossible to breathe new life into this exhaustively mined story, think again. Written by Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffatt, they have imbued the story with an entirely new dimension, full of humour and, in places, almost camp exuberance. Bloody well scary, to boot! FIlmed in the same castle used all those years ago in Nosferatu (The outside at least). The inner sets were fabulous.

The trailer hardly does it justice, makes it seem same old-same old. Though the line delivered by Dracula at the end of this trailer sort of gives you a flavour of the humour: I'm undead; I'm not unreasonable"

Dolly Wells playing Agatha Van Helsing is an absalute treat.

Available onthe BBC player for a few weeks yet. Fill your boots while you can.
