Infinite Jest, a 1996 novel by American writer David Foster Wallace

Out on the Land by Ray Mears & Lars Falt.

In non-fiction, I'm currently finishing "Black Gold" (L'Or Noir), a really thorough and fascinating history of oil by Williaum Auzanneau. I don't know if it's been translated into english (I doubt it), but it's really a fantastic work, maybe my favourite History back published in the past few years. I HIGHLY recommend it, but it does require tremendous investment in time and attention.

I'm also lazily going through an History of Antic Rome by Julien Jerphagnon. Again, a fantastic book, that I don't think exists in english yet. But any well-written roman history is pleasant.

In fiction, I found a collection of short stories from Stefan Zweig that I had forgotten I had. Of course, being Zweig, it's absolutely amazing.

The LA Times review compared the guy to Davis Foster Wallace. How could I say no!? So far, it is very funny.

When I read, I usually have two on the go ....

I am re-reading Canadian author, Margaret Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale ... It's more rounded and I am savoring the words this time (20 years later).

I am also reading an old novel from 1935 (!) It Can't Happen Here is a semi-satirical 1935 political novel by American author Sinclair Lewis.

Earlier today I had to read the writing on a bathroom stall wall. Someone had written in marker, "Nietzsche was full of shit!"

I started thinking about that. You know Nietzsche's mustache does not instill a lot of confidence in the man. I kind of wish I hadn't seen his picture. You'd have thought he'd have been smart enough to realize that 'stache would catch some boogers.

That book looks very intriguing. Looks like a library visit is in order.
Canadian Political Structure and Public Administration, 4th edition
I just finished both my non-fictions, so I had to pick up a new one. Remembered one I set aside for later back in university, so here I am reading: The Imported State, by Bertrand Badie (my teacher at the time). So far it doesn't disappoint, full of brilliant insights, a solid demonstration and fresh new perspectives.

Also, it's available in english.
The Harry Potter series, again. I was reading some of the erotic fan fiction and decided to read the originals again.
That's Not My Donkey by Fiona Watt
My latest story is a racy little piece about what happens when someone cute from work invites you over to watch Netflix and Chill.

Ahh, one of the classics of the genre, although it perhaps doesn't reach the dizzying heights of That's Not My Puppy.

Myself, I've finally got around to reading The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. A good read, but I hope I don't get influenced by the narration style, or my next story here may end up a little...umm...odd.

I have tried Gravity's Rainbow twice and have not been able to make my way all the way through.

Finally finished it today! (Okay, it hasn't been the only thing I've been reading all this time).

Pynchon does take some time and patience to get into/through. Not exactly light reading, but I enjoyed the book.

Don't believe everything that you read.
