The Shallows, by some guy or other. Anyway, it's all about how the internet is changing our brains and how it's affecting our memory and about the internet how it's affecting our memory and how we're continually distracted from
Has anyone read a good book lately? I have, it's called The Shallows.

I'm almost done reading The Stranger by Albert Camus; it's such a fascinating read, it leaves me such a daze whenever I'm reading. It's quite a short book, but a must-read, in my opinion. Love the philosophical themes present. I'm hoping to read the original french version once I'm done with the english-translated version; in my experience, there are usually a lot of minor differences in translations that can really make a huge difference in the readers perception of the story.

Is The Stranger the same as The Outsider? I have that ordered behind Cold Comfort Farm, The Bell Jar, The Girls of Slender Means, and The Rector's Daughter. I can't recommend them obvs, because I HAVEN'T READ THEM YET. I'm still reading Wuthering Heights (I know I'm the last person in the world to read it. Don't tell me what happens. Explosions, I bet.)
I'm not sure why I ordered that Albert Camus story. Was it because I read a recommendation somewhere? Did I read your post and add it?
