If you can change this thread to 'who is the most famous person you have never met?' I might be able to get involved with this one.

As it goes, Nigel Winterburn is the only one I can think of. Only, the vast majority of you will never know who this legend actually is

HOLY WOW, Baryshnikov! I watched The Nutcraker with him in it every year since I was a child! Such an amazing dancer. What an amazing experience!
I was working at a summer job at Sears in Buena Park, CA in 1977 and we were having a huge sale on RCA 25" TVs. I worked in the warehouse but was also helping customers load TVs all day. John Wayne came in and bought one for his maid and I helped him load it in his station wagon. The very next week, I met Red Skelton.
Once upon a time I worked as a limo driver while I was in between jobs. It was actually a lot of fun. I drove a number of celebrities during that time but two, well three stand out. First, the one I liked the most was Dennis Quaid. He and his wife Kim were great. The second one was Billy Bob Thornton. He was a fun guy. The weirdest one was Bill Cosby. This was before everyone figured out the truth about him. He was terribly hard to talk to and was just downright strange.
Walter Payton aka Sweetness #34
Bill and Hillary Clinton
Amy winehouse and Shacha Baron Cohen, back when i was working in Selfridges
Sam Walton, had brunch with him at his home back in the early eighties.
Old in chronological age. But young at heart and desire.

Joan Bakewell, introduced to her many years ago, when she was the working man s crumpet

I can’t think of a good tagline so this will have to do. Suggest a better one for me?

My father knew a lot of country music people, so we got to meet lots of country stars. My favorites were Loretta Lynn, Charley Pride and Dolly Parton. I was 13 when I met her. She was 19. We hugged. I still remember her scent.

From the non-country music world, Chuck Berry, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Robin Trower.

From politics, George Bush, Barbara Jordan and Ann Richards.
