Will be me, my Mum and Dad, my Grandma and Grandad and my other Grandma (Nana) from Prague will be here! Yippeee! I go out for a walk in the morning (hope it's snowing) then come back and play a game while Mum does the dinner. We open the presents after dinner (cos we're posh lol).
Care for elderly inlaws first take fatherinlaw to see wife in nursing home, then pick up his first wife and taker home with him for rest of day, could be a disaster but that is family. O and sneak onto lush and get some pleasure for myself before take them all home and then go feed dogs and help wife clean up, pop back to lush for little more sustenance and have some wine cheers.
Well christmas is huge for my little family. Beside my kiddies i am surrounded by nephew and nieces. Over fed over drunk and over wanting to do anything except lay about in the pool.
And in between all of that some very fond thoughts for the ones i love but cant be with.
I will exchange presents with my wife in the morning. We'll have dinner with the in-laws (exchange presents), & evening at my parents & family (exchange presents).
But the time leading up to Christmas Day is most fun, buying Toys For Tots, Secret Santa, doing Salvation Army bell ringing, giving coats and food to homeless, and stuff like that makes me think Christmas.

Life has changed a lot in the last few years for me. After losing my mum 7 years ago ... Christmas has lost its luster. It's not that big of a deal anymore. I usually have a special brunch in the morning with my children - then I insist they enjoy time (Christmas dinner and evening) with their grandparents (their father's side) as they are in their 80's and won't be around forever.
I will likely go for a long walk, see if there is a movie to see and eventually head over to enjoy dinner with my Aunt who is alone this year.
In my world, Christmas is pared back, simple, relaxing and nothing hurried.
Spending it with as many of my kids and grand kids and great grand kids as I can. Maybe some time with a friend.
Family is what it's all about.
Spending it with most of my family, cooking for 16 should be a tad hectic
Giving away the house to the kids.
Setting a trap for Santa. When that doesn't work (again.. crafty bugger!), spending the day with family.
There is no 'tude like GeekItude!

An exciting change of plans will have me soaking up the sun, enjoying sand between my toes, and doing some wind surfing.
sounds like I might be working. Oh well, I'll make up for it this spring when the sun is out & shining on a beach somewhere.
I will be at home on my own .
I'll be spending the day with my sister and her family.
Spending the day with my daughter, mother and my brother and sister and there partners
Well we were meant to be going off to Florida to stay with extended family and meet a couple of lushies. But now we are keeping to the freezing weather without any plans other than waking at stupid o'clock with the kids.
