I just finished watching the movie Secretary, and it made me wonder what is your favorite "fetish" film?
Please don't talk about your favorite porn video, only legitemate films.
Anything by Jess Franco. His films aren't high quality but they are funny, sexy, sometimes violent cult films. If you're not a fan of cheesy exploitation movies you might not like them.

Eugenie and Marquis de Sade's Justine are some of my favorites.
Right now the only one that comes to mind is Interview with a Vampire. The part when he bites her tit is so erotic.
Crash (1996) by David Cronenberg is pretty good.

Also The Story of O is a bondage and S&M classic from the 70's.
I have never heard of Thestory of O, but i have seen Crash
It's a little dated but still enjoyable if you're in the mood for a cult fetish flick.

I love "The Secretary." It's a great movie that treats the subject with smarts. "Henry and June" is also a pretty good movie. "Barbarella" is funny, but tame by today's standards. For a little weird I recommend "The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover"

EDIT: There was also a movie in the 80's called "Scandal" about upper class British society and a exotic dancer. It had some pretty hot scenes for the time.
I'm not sure if these would qualify, but two films that are really interesting in a dark psychological/sexual way are Bitter Moon (Roman Polanski) and Damage (Louis Malle).

Both are older films, but they are both really twisted little flicks that I could (and have) watched over and over again...
Now another movie I have seen that is probably the most fucked up for lack of a better word is The Night Porter, its subject matter is just very unusual for a film with fetishistic elements.

I was going to recommend that one but you never know how recommending a Nazi pic with some S&M elements in it is going to go over with people.j3OK3Ag7I49erKwN

There's a fetishistic Korean film called Lies that came out in the late nineties that deals with mainly whipping and things like that. It's not a great movie but it will linger in your head for a good while after you watch it. It is a legit movie but it is sometimes borderline pornographic so it's not for everybody.

yeah people tend to be touchy about the SS, i only watched it originally because Charolette Rambling is in it.
So another film with fetishistic element is Shortbus, is anybody familiar with it
I havent seen shortbus, i'll have to put it on my netflix queue.

I do remember a movie I bought a few years ago that you might like if you can stomach Gerard Depardieu as some sort of sex symbol. I bought Maitresse without seeing it, I was addicted to buying criterion collection movies for a while, and it was a bit shocking. It is French and made in the 70's so it tends to be kind of slow in some parts but it is still fairly good as a movie. Be warned though, it is shocking and there was a repulsive scene involving a horse slaughter that is best fast forwarded. It does have classic leather and latex S&M elements though and can be enjoyed if you want to watch it purely for that.

Well there are few thing more shocking than Shortbus, it contains self-fellatio, an orgy, trannies, S&M, M on M sex, a male daisy chain, masturbation and it is all unsimulated sex.
BOUND, with Jennifer Tilly, Gina Gershon, Joe Pantoliano

Well worth a look
Dancing at the blue Igauna strippers and Jennifer Tilly is in it as the fetish stripper

Me being a straight male, this does sound pretty shocking. Daisy chain is a funny term

I love that movie. I wish the Wachowski brothers would go back to their roots and direct more movies like bound.

As the thread has moved on to just disturbing films in general, has anyone seen Antichrist by Lars Von Trier? One of the most disturbing grotesquely beautiful films I've ever seen. It will stick with you for a while, very creepy.
Doesn't that star Dafoe? and these aren't just disturbing films they each have their one fetishistic elements but most are quite shocking the first view.
Yes it does. I heard the sex in it is un-simulated as well. Pretty rare for a mainstream actor like him to partake in. It's a shame the movie didn't do that well. It really is different and really shocking in some parts.
The Ages Of Lulu

Spanish film, if I recall correctly. Nice MMF scene.

The close-up sex scene in the shower in "Antichrist" is real but they used porn actors for that scene, not Dafoe or Gainsbourg.
In contrast, the sex scenes in "The idiots", also by von Trier, does have the normal actors engaging in real sex.
Insert typical super smart ass comment courtesy of thepainter here.

Oh ok, that makes more sense. It still caught me off gaurd when I first saw it.
Hmm Center of the World for actual fetishism and Kinsey for an intelligent look at fetixhism and sex in general.

awesome movie.
Just watched Adam Resurrected with Jeff Goldblum. Though not a fetish film, it has a few interesting scenes with the head nurse who pretends to be a dog that are very interesting.
The movie Crash is a movie with lots of fetishistic elements.
I think what made crash so interesting is the way it successfully fetishizes something so un-sexy. When you think about it, the premise for the movie is pretty rediculous. Getting turned on by a car crash? It's rediculous but I totally believed the characters were really into it. It's impressive that cronenberg convinced enough investors to even get it made.
Crash, Secretary, Shortbus, and Kinsey are all amazing films

Another is Lie With Me (2005). Not the entire movie is about fetish, but the beginning where the main characters (played by Lauren Lee Smith and Eric Balfour) get off by watching each other get fucked by different people is.
"Nos laetus epulor qui would domito nos. (We gladly feast on those who would subdue us.)"
"Nil satis nisi optimum. (Nothing but the best will do.)"
"I hate it when things don't go my way. It makes me so...horny." - Sarah Michelle Gellar (Kathryn, Cruel Intentions)
"Sex is just alone time with someone else there." - Taint on The Lex And Terry Show, 11/11/09
"Stupidity isn't a crime, so you're free to go."
"I am The Devil, too. There can only be one devil. One of us must go." - Ozzy Osbourne at the end of his cover of "Sympathy For The Devil"
"Your ego is not your amigo." - Nikki Sixx, The Heroin Diaries
"It's my world. I'm just letting you live here." - Mandy, The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy
The Dreamers staring Eva Green, the story is wrapped around the sexual awakening of an american student in paris by a french brother and sister. very erotic and very interesting.

Watching Eva Green dance slowly to "la mer" is one of the sexiest things ever filmed. Pitt was good in it too. I started checking his movies out after watching the Dreamers.

Anyone heard of the Emmanuelle series? There are two, one series is French and the other stars Laura Gemser I prefer the ones with Laura.
