Sadly, the amazing Etta James passed away. What a Voice!!! How many times was this song picked as a first song at a wedding, or for a special occasion.

RIP ~ one of the sexiest female voices ever! In case you have never enjoyed the song - here it is!

Such a shame she passed, so much talent and so many songs loved! I have several Spoonful,Sugar on the floor and Trust in me it goes on...She has inspired me so much in life in general as well as musically. She gets right to the gut to the song and makes love to it with every fiber in her body the way you should sing a song. I will miss her so...
Ah you "get" it. Welcome Kitten.
but you know... she will never REALLY die because of her music.... because her heart always spoke in her voice..... what a legacy that is....
she was a force of nature. period
real stuff....... the queen of all of it....

Etta James' rendition of At Last will always bring back warm memories of when I first heard it. I was crazy in love at the time.

guess using Etta James in the title was necessary???

Guess so. If you don't ask what size a dick is no one is curious.

In my opinion, that "Sunday Kind of Love" is absolutely AMAZING!! It always gives me goosebumps! Thanks for sharing LLS!
I have to agree with Frank. That is what a real women is ,period.
She was one of the greatest female singers of all time. Hugely underrated and misunderstood with a voice that can provoke a tear or a shiver every time you hear it.

In my opinion she was the female version of the late great Otis Redding. Each song was so heartfelt and filled with such emotion that you wonder how they managed to finish the song without breaking down.

RIP Etta
