I know that is frowned on but if one takes the bible as fact and believes it as written, then had to have occurred numerous times over the ages. At leas with Adam and Eve and then later with Noahs family as well. One way or another, happens and sometimes it could probably be a beautiful thing to experience... in the right circumstances. This article proves that in many ways.

However, modern views on sex and love tend to still block any form of , which considering the population now versus the two major times in the bible I referenced above... could probably have a lot to do with that too.
Quick Bible lesson that will come as a shock to some of you (plus the overwhelming number of Christians who don't really look at the words of the Bible):

Adam - red dirt, clay, earth...but more importantly--plural. Not really preached on, espoused, but really opens up the door for a non-incestuous beginning of our family tree.

As for Noah and his kin, I agree. I believe the biblical laws that rose later with Moses (married his sister, Miriam) and the children of Israel came as a means for God to push cleaner lines of lineage. There is an African tribe that interbreeds(I saw the show years ago), and they all have birth defects.

I used to draw on my sister's back when we were teenagers, and I really, REALLY wanted to have her turn around so I could draw on her front side. Okay, that was it...no attraction at all since then.

I find it strange that my greatest following here comes from my stories. lol

I just don't think it says anywhere in the bible "Thou shalt have sex with a family member." I don't believe that we know every factual detail of every story in the bible. I imagine there was plenty we assume to know because we fill in the blanks as we want to. I think to assume was something that happened "numerous times" and then to use that as a reason to find acceptable is rather presumptuous.

Of course that is just my opinion...

I would agree.

Don't read those stories of mine. Ever. Wait! One of my character's name is---Adam. Oh, my! This is so weird.

No, the sister's name was not Eve. Really.

You have just earned another reader Subtle lol

More seriously, though, whilst it's natural for Christians to claim Adam and Eve as progenitors, no other major religion makes that claim and they cannot all be wrong.

If one accepts the alternative Darwinism theories of evolution, then surely, as homo sapiens evolved in small nomadic tribes, the major way to reproduce and strengthen the tribe must presumably have been by , with the resulting imperfect children dieing either naturally, or being killed or by being left to die. And not all incestuous relationships produced imbeciles I assume. The tribe could not have afforded to feed and maintain imperfect offspring in a demanding and presumably harsh lifestyle.

I exit with one hand clapping LOL (mmmmm what shall I do with my other hand I wonder !! Answers under brown paper cover if you please !)
