The stores here in Canada were rolling out Christmas stuff as soon as Halloween was over. One chain even had to apologize for playing Christmas music too early. So, a bit early, but not too early.
I'm unreliably informed that Reform Druids celebrate the 'season to be jolly' in early December, then mid-December and on into January. Has something to do with the last fig leaf falling, or something like that.
