.
Well, Hunny, welcome and we're glad to have you – so to speak.
We have coffee, all kinds of tea (I'm a tea drinker myself), espresso, hot chocolate – and lots of other stuff behind the bar.
Allow me to introduce you to some of the found-ins and reprobates that hang around here – or at least most of the more common ones, although none of them are common.
Lion is our Master DJ, whose knowledge of music is encyclopedic. A country boy, and a charming one.
Ape is, by his own profession, a metal head-banger from the Great White North, who doesn't live far from me.
Kimmi is a cute, kind, delicious scribbler (her words, not mine) who happens to be one of the most accomplished writers in Lushland – althought she says she's taking a break from erotica, yet keeps churning it out.
Milik the Red is recently solo and English, alas, but a charming storyteller. I'd recommend keeping on his good side as he keeps a pet dragon. Red, of course.
Dave has a strange screen name, but don't let that fool you. He's friendly and fun and supportive. You'll like him.
Kat is our red-headed beach cat, and one of the originals from when the bar was first founded – or found, I'm not quite sure which. She is perhaps the most accomplished writer here, and a joy and a delight as a friend.
You'll encounter our staff eventually, but let me warn you that Terrance, our head of security, is a tarantula who, in warm weather, hangs out in the rafters and keeps his multiple eyes on everyone – especially the till. Miss Pixel is our night watchcat. You probably won't see her – and if you do, either run towards her (for protection), or away from her (if you've done something you shouldn't – which gives you a LOT of latitude around here), but do NOT get in a fight with her. I speak from experience!
There's a dumpster hot tub in the back, Storeroom #4 is supposed to be off-limits to customers, but seems to have been appropriated by Kimmi and Kat for their boy-toys. If you speak nicely to them, they might show you their wares – and perhaps even ask to see yours!
Now, just out of curiosity – exactly how good a girl are you?
Asking for a friend…
Good Evening, everyone. Bear, thank you for the very warm welcome as many of the others.
That is quite a list of wonderful people I hope to get to know ,. I will try and stay away from Ms. Pixil, so I don't sneeze....
I do prefer tea, but there are those days a coffee or hot chocolate can always be nice.
That hot tub sounds nice. I might need to ask the girls if I can check it out.~smiles~
I am from the North East as of now. I will be moving to the Carolinas very soon.
As for the "asking for a friend"~giggles~ I'm sweet as hunny.~ winks~ but that can always change.
