Tomorrow is a showdown between my Rams and the very scary Lions. And then Thursday they play the seahawks. Winning both of those is going to be virtually impossible.

I get it about the tree. Unless we have people coming to stay, we rarely put up a tree. We still put out some other decorations, but the tree… Yeah, that is a LOT of work.

And go Rams! As an avid Packers fan, anything the Rams can do to knock the Lions out of the playoff race… Well, I will be grateful! Granted, once we get into the post-season, my perception of the Rams may change. lol

Yes. I get several likes and a handful of random messages. Most simply say “hi” or “hey”.

When I first joined, I sometimes responded. Most were looking for coin. When I told them I didn’t have any, they would usually ask me to buy some. Yeah, not happening. And sketchy AF.

The funny thing is that some of the women were members. And some had even published several stories.

That's interesting. Mine are usually seeming noobs. Not even much of a profile. The comments from men who were taking the bait sometimes had more text in them than the profile.

The same thing happened to me within the first three paragraphs she was asking me for coins

I had another that started up a conversation, friendly enough, and the next thing I know she was asking me for a gift card for her so-called birthday

I blocked both of them. I’m too old to get scammed and not interested enough in someone’s selfish enough to ask for money to be bothered with a friend like that anyway.

I have had this too. Usually it is a like on my profile, followed by a "Hi", although I did once receive a phone number to phone. That one was blocked, but normally I just delete the message. I believe it has got worse since coins were introduced.

This happened to me too, looking for coins for a membership. She seemed to think it would help get her stories approved instead of rejected. Maybe its just me but there seems to be a lot more of this type of thing these days.

Oddly, I’ve probably gotten hit on more by women here than men.
