The weather has been foggy and rainy all day here, but I'm in a great mood. My story, Sunset Grill, is getting some great comments (even from some straight guys), and my girl and her hubby are on their way here to celebrate her birthday with us. (How the fuck is my baby turning 30? I have no idea, but we are ready for a great time!

And for the music? How about some early Scorpions? The band released this clip from German TV in 1972 on their YouTube channel yesterday. Klaus Meine with a beard freaks me out bit. It was gone by the time they hit it big in my neck of the woods in the eighties.

Yeah, this one from four years later, 1976, is closer to the Scorpions as I first encountered them. Klaus now looks and sounds like Klaus.

You can never have too much Scorpions. The band is actually as old as I am. Rudolf Schenker, lead guitarist, founded them in 1965, with Klaus joining in 1969. Some members of the current lineup are younger than the band itself.

My wife is musing about new wheels for her vehicle, which is also the family roadtrip vehicle (compact SUV). It's a Honda, not even a decade old, and low mileage so easily has a few more years on it. Then again, it's ICE and we could replace it with a hybrid or PHEV in the same class so maybe it's getting near time.

So I am now getting women liking my profile at a prodigious rate. Probably 1 a day if you average it out. I suspect they are fishing for wild game and am refusing to bite. This morning's new arrival was a dom clearly fishing for clients when I looked at her profile. Not my kink. Still wondering how this works out. If you actually respond, does she then start advertising services to you over DMs or private chat or something like that?

I get them too, Ape, sometimes with an accompanying message and a telephone number. When you look at their profiles, they normally only just joined. I never reply. Especially as it says on my profile page, first line. Happily Married. 🙄😈

They're just fishing for business, I believe.
