Smiler, I'd listen to what Pam and the others said; learn from experience. Once you love someone with all your heart, who cares what they look like after that? For example, what if the person you love puts on 50 pounds, a hundred pounds? What about the passage of time as you each age? Do you feel it's important what other people think of your or your mate's appearance?

Thanks for the warm words, Tech. Everything you said is true about learning and listening to each other before we even saw each other. We didn't even exchange pics or anything before that. It may sound cliche, but it really does come down to knowing the person on the inside first.
