The news broke earlier today that Kevin Conroy passed away at the age of 66. He played a huge part of my childhood, teenage years and hell, even adulthood.
From Batman: The Animated Series to Justice League Unlimited and The Arkham video game series. His iconic gravelly, deep, manly voice resonated with many of us since he took the mantle back in 1992. It is my belief that his vocal portrayal of Batman elevated the character to legendary status.
Anyway, I'm not too great at this type of thing, but I want to thank Mr. Conroy for contributing to making mine as well as several millenials, younger gen x-ers and gen z-ers outlook on Batman what it is today.
Goodbye, to the quintessential Batman 🥀.
