Just for the fun of it, if you were Donald Trump's defense lawyer (he's been going through them at an amazing rate), how do you formulate your defense in light of all the information that came out in the indictment about his mishandling of classified information? I'm struggling to imagine a plausible scenario where Trump's legal team is able to justify his behavior, but I'm looking forward to watching the awkward gymnastic efforts to paint it as an 'honest mistake.'

I am not an American lawyer but given that the case is being tried in Florida which is generally sympathetic to Trump, casting aspersions on the case as being "political" will probably get some traction. Not sure about actual legal maneuvers though. I imagine I would be doing my homework looking for odd precedents or obscure case law that I could throw out.

Get kompromat on the judge, jury, prosecutors, bailiff, stenographer, courtroom artist and everyone else involved in the case.

Although a lot of his election interference cases were also presided over judges he appointed, he lost them all.

The void that represents our current Congress is pathetic. Both parties are a collection of self-serving idiots albeit the Republicans can add spineless and gutless to their definitions.
