Twenty miles maybe. I like biking, but am not heavily into it.

What's the longest you've ever hiked, and where?

Tintinnabulation - first place (Free Spirit)
Comet Q - second place (Quick and Risqué Sex)
Amnesia - third place (Le Noir Erotique)

15 miles on one trail, probably 20 for the day. Waterfall in the UP was 7.5 miles back on a trail.... no problem. Didn't consider that we had to walk 7.5 miles to get back.

What's your favorite sport?

To watch? Figure skating. To do? Swimming.

What team were/are you on?

Life guard club, boat team and scuba team.

What's your greatest sports achievement?

A little kindness can be so valuable, yet costs almost nothing

No trophies. though I think out Little League team won a citywide competition (small town Iowa, no big deal). I have many fond memories of playing softball in Central Park though, and I play a pretty mean shortstop.

What your greatest artistic achievement?

A painting of the village where my mom was born, surrounded by tulip fields.

What wasthe last time you used paint in an artistic way (or tried to) and what was the result?

I tried to paint bamboo shoots and leaves with water colors once. It turned out better than when I tried to paint nude women. lol

What artistic medium have you dabbled in with disappointing results?

Aquarel Paint. Not my medium.

What artistic ways of expression have you tried and with what results?

Acting (adequate), directing (pretty good), writing (good, I like to think). Never really tried painting or music.

What is your favorite thing that happens most every day?

Sex, of course! 😜

When's the last time you were pulled over by a cop and for doing what?

A few years ago. I was just driving by, they were checking passing traffic for alcohol and drugs. Breath analysis was negative for both, so I could continue on my way without trouble.

Have you ever been pulled over by the police because of an actual traffic violation?

Yes, I have. By the time I was twenty I had over fifty moving violations. Then I started racing stockcars and no moving violations in more than three decades.

Most extreme thing you have done while driving a car?

Another Mustang driver wanted to race mine on an open stretch of highway, and I stupidly gunned it and pulled out in front of him till we passed a cop, who turned around, caught up and pulled me over cuz he clocked me on radar before the other Mustang.

Did you buy your last car based more on looks, performance, reliability, or economy?

Functionality. A min-van carries a ton of people and/or a ton of gear.

Have you ever made a coast-to-coast road trip across the US?

Tintinnabulation - first place (Free Spirit)
Comet Q - second place (Quick and Risqué Sex)
Amnesia - third place (Le Noir Erotique)

Yes, and crossing Kansas was the worst! BORING!

How far can you drive in one day without getting exhausted?

No. The longest trip I ever made in the US was a walk from the plane to the transit waiting room and back at Bangor airport.

Have you ever made a long roundtrip without preplanned stops and pre-booked hotels in a foreign country?

Nope. We generally have at least a basic plan in place, even if we tweak as we go. China is kind of the exception since my wife is Chinese. There we generally go crash with family first, then book any trips we are taking in the country.

What is the furthest you have been from home?

There's an element of heat in this story.

Consuming Fire of Her Desire - Elements comp entry

Southern Puerto Rico.

Do you know your blood type?

A+

Are you a vampire with a specific thirst?

Damn! ...I gotta learn to be more subtle.

Do you have a long neck with a prominent jugular vein?

Gulp! This thread just got a little spooooooky. Yes I have a long neck and a juicy tasty jugular vein.

Do you believe in anything paranormal?

I'm a born skeptic who believes in science, but I have an open mind.

Would you like to experience something completely paranormal that would challenge all your beliefs, or are you happy with the ordinary explainable stuff?

I'd LOVE to experience something that would challenge all my beliefs.

What's one thing you've seen that you can't explain?

Tintinnabulation - first place (Free Spirit)
Comet Q - second place (Quick and Risqué Sex)
Amnesia - third place (Le Noir Erotique)

I can explain nearly everything. I'm like Clarissa.

If lights mysteriously started going on and off in your home, would you call the GhostBusters or an electrician?

I'd love to see ghostbusters at work, but I still think I'd call an electrician (but only if fixing it myself fails)

Does electricity scare you enough to stay away from it?

Republican fascists and religious fanatics destroying our democracy.

Are any of your relatives devoted MAGA adherents?

Quite the opposite.

Well, Xi Jinping and Putin are already dictators. Trump is the only wannabe dictator. Putin and Xi are the biggest threats to world stability though.

Do you feel like the whole world knows climate change will end human civilization soon, so the world's dictators are all scrambling to die with the most toys when it all ends? Or are you optimistic that things will work out for the best?

I'm incredibly optimistic, largely based on the unprecedented amount of good happening (that doesn't get reported). Without my head in the sand, not going to allow dominant voices/agendas define reality.

Seduce or be seduced?
