try Ambesol until you can get to the dentist, it will numb it or should. Then, get a book on self hypnosis for future use. A good one should have a section on "glove anesthesia" . It can be produced by the mind in the hypnotic state and transferred from one area of the body to another (two transfers before you transfer TO the area causing you the pain. ;) ) I hope this helps some, now and in the future.
