Well, since most people don't know the chemical name for salt, it's a bit of a wild-card, hun. Might confuse them.

my fault for being totally vague to begin with............

it can be pretty loose, actually, so it can be either a specific word preference like the cat/pussy thing, or a broader example like the ClassicRock/New Wave thing.

ah - an Albert and Joe Bouchard fan, I see. (saw them in '82)

maybe I should have just called this a "which do you like better - a or b?" thing, which might be a little TOO broad perhaps.
