That's interesting reading. M/M Romance at #1? Wow!

Pricing is such a tricky issue.

It's obvious to say that you want as many people to buy the books as possible, yet putting a too low price on a piece of quality work, may undervalue it in the eyes of surfers. Putting a too high price on a shorter piece, you'll end up getting lots of people demanding refunds.

Those price ranges they publish there, reflect our own quite accurately. The $2.99-$4.99 price range seems to sell the best for our publications.

M/M does very well...always, it would seem...a number of female authors write M/M using male pen names, the opposite of the usual romance writers...there's an author on Lush who does that, can't recall her name, but I think you know who I mean...

Yeah, I think we're on point in that price range, certainly for the short story collections...from what I've gathered, we could go a bit higher for the novels, such as Ashleigh's...and novels are the key to sales success, regardless of genre...

"50 Shades Of Twilight" or "50 Shades Of Harry Potter" or whatever is on the top of the sales charts at the moment shows great hope for the future of erotica writers...but note...none of them are short story collections...just sayin'

You know you want it, you know you need it bad...get it now on Amazon.com...
Lush Erotica, an Anthology of Award Winning Sex Stories
Our latest publication is a novel, with just over 200 pages, is priced at $2.99, and is flying off the shelves (comparatively). "Reluctant Swingers" has sold over 30 copies in less than a week.

Dancing Doll's latest novel is doing really well too, "The Bitches in the Basement" is of a similar length.

The Lush Erotica Collection, the next best seller this month, has sold a few less, but is made up from 19 short stories, and is almost double the length.

So yes, judging by our dozen or so titles so far, what you are noticing there rings true for our publications too. Amazon surfers seem to prefer single author books, of at least 150+ pages.
These are good tips. Thanks for the heads up.
M/M sells eh? Well, what do you know. Perhaps I should consider that as well. My one attempt see to be well like across the board.
